Ryan Lacey, 21, of Troy finished second in the Country Concert Karaoke semifinals held Sunday at the Miami Valley Centre Mall in Piqua. Kelli Anne Kabua, 30, of Sidney took home first while Christopher Howard of Piqua finished third. Kabua will now compete at the Country Concert on Friday, July 8. PIQUA - The city of Piqua's fire prevention has always followed the National Fire Prevention Association's model code, but that no longer exists reported City Manager Fred Enderle, which is why he suggested Piqua City Commission do a little "housecleaning" Monday during regular session to bring the Piqua Municipal Code up-to-date.
